Dinoman your right on the money with that.She's got quite a back ground in wrestling.I think that has to do a lot with her in ring performance .Cause she sure knows what she doing in the ring.And I love to watch her in the ring.Like that last Diva battle royal and how she played coy until it was the right time.I seen her head over in the corner as the two other diva's were going at it.I think it was Jillian and Gail and you could just see the head of Beth laying on the corner of the apron not out to the match then Beth is standing in the ring just waiting for Gail too look up and see that Beth is still there that was so funny to me what and ending to a great Diva match..
They're's quite a bit of idea that the whole match is scriped in the ring .Yes it is but not the way you think.The begining moves are yes scripted and the end who wins and with what move and how long the match.Now here comes the tricky part.So that neither wrestler or Diva gets injured in the ring after all it's a show and to sell your angle with baby face or heel.What they do one of the does a thing called 'calling the moves on the fly"Anther words they talk to each other which the fans can't hear and they both know what's coming next.Now that's where;comes the part of selling the move.Cause if one gets hurt then your both out of the show.So they both have to know what moves are next in line.And sometimes like Mickies and Gails Title match since they both really wrestle the same way one of them botch then next move.Cause the idea is to prevent some one either one of them from getting hurt.If they can't call the moves on the fly they won't last long in the ring.Cause that is the heart of westling.They work together in the ring and when the Title is supposed to change hands it does.And say like the fans aren't responding to the match ,then the workers in the ring change the moves to get the crowd reaction,That's why they have to be able to call the moves on the fly .to keep the crowd in the match/.
I read she was the first female varsity wrestler back in her high school and won two separate tournaments. She's probably just one of two current divas who could actually fight for real. The other one would be Natalya.
Okay I am a huge fan of Beth phoenix.Her ring character and ring performance in the ring is to me admired.She puts on such a good show and is very good at selling what ever part she has in the match.As you all know before they even climb into the ring they already know who's the winner.Beth is very good at carrying out her part in the match.I do watch all of them in the way of they're ring performance in the ring and the ability to sell their part.Some of them are able to sell better then others that's why some get the push if they stay at it like Beth does.I think with Beths' physical acumen in the ring it's hard to get by someone who can sell like they're almost out of it and at the end come out the winner like Beth does.After all that is the purpose of the show to sell the angle you are given.NOw my problem with Beth Phoenix and the Diva's and the different news sites and there are plenty of them.Most of the time they have the same story as the rest.Like last week's no Diva match on raw.Most of the sites couldn't explain why no Diva's match except one site that did a great write up of the whole show.DivaDirt had the best write up and explaination of honestly what happened.It was called Barker's Beauties.That to me was the biggest joke I have seen in a long time.So some of the model looking Divas' were on the one's that didn't fit like Beth ,Mickie ,Gail.and Alicia were who are more the wrestling type then the model looking type.Some times the different news sites don't pay the slightest attention to what's going on the television compared to what they write.Beth has never been in trouble with the wwe officials for one thing she's very much one of the top Diva's if not the Top Diva in the wwe right now and she does't look the type to make a mistake like that.Andb being 28 why would she make adumb move like that.Aftr all she also got some college educaion behind her.
Hey Robert, thanks for registering. Beth Phoenix is one of my top 5 divas and I'm always looking to find good pictures of her to add to the gallery. I don't go back as far as you, but I've been a wrestling fan since the Hulk Hogan/Andre The Giant feud. I think Trish Stratus will be hosting Raw next week so I will definitely catch that!
Say I just want to take a minute and say thanks for putting up this site. I am a huge wrestling fan off over 40 years.My favorite Diva is Beth Phoenix she's got an inring character that is just awesome.And she sell's herself so well.When some-times you think she's out of it in the ring she's just being coy.I admire her character and inring personality and gimmick.To boot the physical acumen that she has in the ring is just awesome.I never miss a raw.The Raw show is very enteraining.Thanks for this new forum.
